In your mailbox...today!

This afternoon, while the kids were fighting like two angry cats, I hid in my office and flipped through the new Restoration Hardware Catalog, expecting the usual new Belgian fare. I swear Axel Vervoordt must just want to die - and not in the Rachel Zoe kind of way. Its just a matter of time til every new spec house in every suburban fake cul de sac is littered with Belgian interiors. Help us all. But I gotta admit, I do like a lot of what they're turning out. So kudos to them for mainstreaming some decent design.  I am particularly fond of the upholstery in this season's issue.

And those single bench cushions?  Dig it.

I'm a talker. Not like "loose lips sinking ships kind of talker" but someone who likes to talk and connect. So when I find something great, I gotta talk about it. Most recently, I was educated about Instead - a real eyeopener for me. Holy mackerel. (Never knew I was so old fashioned. And I'm admittedly still not completely clear on the removal process. But more on that later.) So since my world is all about home and design, I have to sing the praises of the new Lambert pillow from Crate and Barrel. Too often, pillows available at major retail stores are just bleck. Too small. Crappy fabric. Weird sheen. Not this guy.

Great colors, perfect for Fall (as if we really change our pillows for the seasons) and all of $40. I just brought three up to a client's house, and they really did wonders for the space. More photos of that project soon.
